Police have launched an investigation after a man with a gunshot wound turned up at a hospital in south-west Sydney.
The 37-year-old arrived at Bankstown Hospital after 12am today.
He was treated at the scene before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.
The man remains in hospital in a stable condition this evening.
Police have launched an investigation into how he was shot and urged anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
